KO Superion, Yay or Nay?

Recently for no apparent reason I have muchly desired a G1 Superion. Like I said I have no idea why the fuck I want him I just do. Anyways during my quest to find a G1 Superion reissue (Fuck getting the actual thing) I discovered that it is either non existent or just really hard to find... But then from the outbacks of the Internet there came a glimpse of hope! I could buy a Knockoff G1 Superion at the cost of slightly lower plastic quality I could save a ton of cash! So here comes the question should I or shouldn't I? It saves me money but at the cost of encouraging the production of more KOs. Oh my what a dilemma :S.

MCM Expo London

Hai there again no review for today but instead I have some news that you may or may not find interesting. I have started saving up all of my spare cash in order to have enough money to go to the MCM Expo in London this May! This of course is a perfect blogging oppertunity as I can go and take some pictures and buy some stuff. This post is just more of an early warning that I won't be doing so many reviews till then because I gotta save money. OMFGWTFBBQ A REVIEW!?

Yes the title is correct I am here with a brief review for you all! I don't have pictures at the mo' but be expecting some soon! Okay so what will I be reviewing you may ask? Simples I am reviewing the fancraptabulous Rodimus Prime from the Battle in space 2 pak. Okay so first things first I should warn you my review may be a lil biased as I am a hueg Rodimus Prime fan(Hot Rod which is what I will be calling him from now on) :D.

Okay so good things first! Right so this version of Hot Rod is a redeco of the fucking smexy Hot Rod from the classics line which of course gives the advantage of him not costing like a 100 quid! Another thing I really liked about him was his colour scheme, Hot Rods colour scheme is supposed to be more reminiscent of his movie appearance and I have to say it looks great. Dem blue windshields with dem hot flame graphics yum yum, I also have to say I am a huge fan of the rubsign he has why? Because rubsigns are fucking awesome! That's why. I also really liked his transformation it is pretty easy but is pulled off really well and makes him great fun to transform.

Now onto the bad things and I hate to say it but these things really irk me. First of all is the painting quality control is just... awful I mean my Hot Rod has these horrible little grey spots of paint all over him I mean seriously who the fuck painted him? By the looks of it a total spastic :/. He also had a big ugly scratch in his flame decals which really put me off him. Now down to the toys mechanical problems the first thing I noticed was the arms just feel useless you just can't get a good pose out of them same for his legs too which is a shame. Another problem was one of his wheels on his legs you have to slide out constantly gets jammed which means I have to pull on it real hard and I can tell you it is one hell of a terrifying experience, it feels like the wheel might pop off and shatter at any given moment. Any who these are the small problems I can ignore... unfortunately the last one really knocks the toy down a few levels. The problem I am talking about of course is his gun, it is the worst weapon ever! The gun constantly fucks up and will rarely fire the bullet and the bullet looks as stupid as fuck too its like a big fire effect thing and it has a big stupid ball on the end to stop kids from poking their eyes out with it. The gun however isn't completely useless, while it does make a shit gun it does make a pretty cool exhaust pipe in vehicle mode and an even cooler jetpack in robot mode so it's not all bad I guess.

Now onto the conclusion, so what are my final thoughts? Hot Rod has a sweet mold and paint scheme but a few little problems that you can over look and a huge glaring problem which is the gun. Would I recommend it? Fuck yes I mean it's cheaper than classics Rodimus has a sweet paint scheme and comes with Cyclonus who is equally awesome. If you are a transformers classics fan I can not recommend it enough and it gets a rating of 4 out of 5 stars! also on a less related note keep your eyes on this space for my Cyclonus review!
